Power Electronics Chapter of the IEEE Malaysia Section is pleased
to announce 2015 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2015),
which will be held at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru on the 19th-20th
October 2015. The conference is co-organized by Universiti
Teknologi Malaysia and technically co sponsored by Korean Institute of Power
Electronics (KIPE).
This year, we are honoured to have Prof. Pat Wheeler from
University of Nottingham, UK and Prof. H. Akagi from Tokyo Institute of
Technology, Japan as our keynote speakers.
The conference is now accepting technical papers and the deadline
for submission is extended to 15 June 2015.
Best Paper Awards will be given to three best papers based on
recommendation of the CENCON Technical Committee. Only the papers presented in
the CENCON will be considered for the awards. Each award contains prize money
and a certificate.
1st prize – RM 500 and a certificate
2nd prize – RM 300 and a certificate
3rd prize – RM 200 and a certificate
Authors are invited to submit full papers describing original
research. Areas of interest includes, but are not limited to the following

-High Voltage and Electrical Insulation Engineering
If accepted, your paper may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE
Xplore® Digital Library, once they meet the requirements of an IEEE quality
review. IEEE reserves the right to not publish any proceedings not meeting
these standards.
We are glad to inform that the previous 2014 conference
proceedings are already included in IEEEXplore digital library and
SCOPUS.
