Depends on acceptance of the paper and how well it is rated during APC2014 which will be held in January 2014.

Dear PG Students:

You are required to submit paper to ICIAS2014.

Otherwise, the HOD will not approve any other conferences which to be held next year in 2014.

 You are also required to include the copy of paper submission confirmation email in ICIAS2014 from EDAS as the proof for other 2014 conferences approval request through our HOD.

Kindly be informed that Ministry of Education (MoE) will be conducting RU Audit on UTP from 18-19/2013 (next week Monday & Tuesday) to assess our eligibility to be conferred with National RU Status. As a mechanism to better prepare ourselves to receive this RU audit, we need volunteers (3 Masters and 3 PhD students), preferably whom are going to graduate to attend our briefing on RU  Audit as follows:

TIME      : 9.00 a.m.

VENUE  : RIO/CGS Seminar Room

1.      The attached template must be added to the slides for any presentations in PGS or conferences.

2.      Students to update with Mr. MOHANAD the registration confirmation of this semester.

3.      Students to submit (softcopy) of passport photo to Mr Nebyu or Mr Umer for attendance system.

4.      Students to finalize co-supervisor. All students shall have co-spv registered.

5.      Students to register a paper in ICIAS 2014 through EDAS.

Dear All Admin Assistants and Admin Executives,

Attach is the guidelines on allowance rates and other benefits for GRA and GA students. Maybe some of you sometime assist the lecturer or the HOD to prepare the TVM requesting for advance and claim which was meant for their students to attend the conferences. Please use this guidelines as a reference in order to check on how much they can claim for respective purpose such as mileage, accommodation or meal allowances. You may also share this guidelines with other lecturer if they happen to ask you.
