Dear all dedicated PG Coordinator,
Attached is the list of students who already did their RCS and RPD list recently. As per agreed in our meeting, for those who already did their RCS can be back up examiner during the presentation. I would like to suggest we dedicate at least one RCS students to be an examiner so in case any examiner did not come, he/she already there. If both examiner come, we will collect the RCS student’s evaluation and keep it in our record.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF TRACK, DATE AND VENUE OF BIANNUAL POSTGRADUATE CONFERENCE 2014 PRESENTATION (EE DEPT)
Dear respected postgraduate students,
Please be advised that the Biannual Postgraduate Conference (BAPC) for the January 2014 semester will be held on 14th May 2014 – 16th May 2014. This conference is meant as a platform for postgraduate students to present their research progress in a conference environment and also as part of the semester’s assessments.
Attached is the track of the event including the venue and time for all papers which have been submitted to us for your kind reference.
Reminder:
1) Presenters are required to be punctual
2) Maximum number of slides : 15 slides
3) Presentation and Q&A session : 15 minutes
Failure to attend and present at your designated session without any prior approval from CGS may place you in a PROBATIONARY status. As such, please take note and kindly remind your other postgraduate colleague in case they did not receive or alert to this email.

Poster Session for ICIAS 2014
Dear Students,
Please check your papers below and we would like to inform you that your papers have been selected for the POSTER session for ICIAS 2014, which will be held at 10:00am – 11:00am, Day 2 – Wednesday (3 June 2014) at the Foyer of Level 4.
Some instructions for poster session.
Poster Exhibition:
All exhibitors are responsible to print their own poster material(s) at their own costs.
Poster materials must be printed on a single A1 sized paper.
Poster exhibitors are responsible for setting up and dismantling their poster material at the time allocated.
Poster exhibitors are requested to be on standby at their respective poster sites during Poster Q&A session.
So you are advised to start preparing your poster now. To streamline the look of all posters and to assist your preparation, we have prepared a poster template (as attached). Once you have completed the final version of your poster, you can see En. Musa to print out your poster (En. Musa please advise the deadline for printing). Each paper is allowed 1 time printing only so please ensure that you submit the final version. Do complete the poster in good time and avoid any last minute printing.

Biannual APC 2014 - Important info
Dear all,
The PG APC will be on schedule from 14-16 May 2014. The detailed program will be provided by the CGS in coming week.
PG EE eligibility and mark submission:
a. Those who have completed RCS and RPD from 3/1/2014 to 7/4/2014, à not required to present in APC.
b. Those who have completed RCS before 3/1/2014 and after 7/4/2014, à supervisor to issue marks based on Advanced Candidature form
c. Those who have completed RPD before 3/1/2014 and after 7/4/2014, à supervisor to issue marks based on Preliminary Candidature form
I need several individuals from (a) above to assist me during the event. Please email me your name, ID no and HP no.
