Dear all respective academic department,

 

In line with the Ministry of Education (MOE) circular which instructed all university to keep the postgraduate students’ attendance record on daily basis, please be advised that the daily attendance in the respective academic department is COMPULSORY for all On Campus Postgraduate Students.

 

In order to monitor the attendance effectively, Centre for Graduate Studies office has introduce the thumbprint attendance system machine which had been installed in every academic department. Each PG student is required to thumb in at the machine for their attendance effective from 17^th March 2014 onwards.

 

Please be advised that lacking of attendance in the department for any particular day without any official approval from CGS may effect the GA/GRA allowance and application of certification letter for visa renewal may not be entertained.
